Varlion unveils new collection and global plans

2 Gennaio 2025

After nearly two years of silence, Varlion is turning the spotlight back on its brand and preparing for a new phase of relaunch.

Founded in 1993 and with over thirty years of history, the company chose Madrid’s Club Deportivo Somontes to unveil its new REGA racket collection and a line of technical apparel, officially marking its return to the padel scene.

During the event, founder and ceo Félix Regalia also addressed the reasons behind nearly two years of public inactivity, outlining the vision that will guide the brand in this new era: a business strategy that is “sustainable and profitable for the customer,” supported by new professional roles such as PRO-COM (sales promoters) and VOT (Varlion Official Trainers), designed to bring the product closer to players and consumers worldwide.

The centerpiece of the presentation was the REGA collection, described by Regalia as “the pinnacle of luxury and excellence in racket sports.” This premium range focuses on proprietary technologies, innovative design, and high performance. Among the standout features are anti-vibration systems designed to reduce elbow issues for players, already adopted by several industry competitors.

But Varlion’s ambition doesn’t stop there. The new corporate structure and development plan outline a clear path:

– Stable and sustainable pricing to ensure long-term value.

– Gradual entry into new racket sports, from the rapidly growing pickleball market in the U.S. to beach tennis, with initial launches planned from 2026.

– Building a global ecosystem, aiming to become a cross-disciplinary reference brand for all racket sports.

With this move, Varlion not only returns to the scene but aims to reassert itself as a strategic player capable of contributing to the growth of the entire padel industry and beyond.
