31 March 2026

The Padel World Summit aims to confirm itself as the ideal tool to expand its network. A strategic fair for positioning and international attractiveness, destined to become the place to be for b2b

by Daniele Pansardi

The Padel World Summit (PWS) has established itself as the main catalyst for expanding networking and b2b. The data from the last edition, the first held in Barcelona after the debut in Malaga in 2024, confirmed the success of the organizers’ positioning strategy: 6,062 industry operators and 120 exhibitors participated in the event, with a market penetration rate of 40%. In this scenario, Barcelona reaffirms itself as a strategic hub for innovation, with the third edition scheduled from May 26 to 28 at the Gran Via in the Catalan capital, serving as a hub for connectivity and economic development in the sports value chain. The strategic vision of the PWS is based on four fundamental guidelines:

  1. internationalization, with a priority focus on introducing and consolidating padel in high potential markets such as Asia, North America, and the Middle East;
  2. promoting the spread of the sport and industry through collaboration with industry media and initiatives with Federations and institutions;
  3. integration of cutting-edge technologies to redefine user experience and management efficiency;
  4. structuring padel as a global economic asset, capable of attracting investments in infrastructure, equipment, and events.

Padel World Summit: the global center of the padel industry The event’s architecture is designed to maximize networking investments. At the center of everything, the Expo area is the meeting point for the entire value chain (court construction, infrastructure, management software, and specialized services). The effectiveness in matchmaking is proven by the fact that 86% of visitors found the desired professional profile during the event, in the context of 275 meetings generated by the Buyers & Investors Program. The fair also hosts the Innovation Arena, dedicated to new market players and where the Startup Awards were held with over 20 emerging companies. The focus is on applied technologies such as biometrics, wearables, and club management software. There are also activities in the field with the Play Arena, a dynamic area with 10 active courts dedicated to product testing, brand activation, and demos for using AI in performance analysis. The Summit’s credibility is supported by high performance indicators: 90% of participants declare themselves satisfied and 96% have confirmed their intention to participate in the 2026 edition. New Horizons

The evolution of the sector will experience a new chapter in May, when the central theme of the third edition will be “Next Padel: vision, alliances and power of transformation”, which will be developed during the Global Padel Conference. The themes will be declined according to six fundamental pillars: geographic expansion, new economic models, strategic partnerships, digital innovation, training and performance, and user engagement. The Padel World Summit is not just an exhibition platform, but a true value multiplier capable of generating tangible impacts for all stakeholders. Through the connection between decision-makers, companies, and institutions, the Summit can transform padel into an increasingly structured economic asset, accelerating its path to becoming an Olympic sport and a global mass phenomenon.
